Job Market in NYC
Has anyone been seeing anything lately? I have been on and off testing the waters for about a year. Very transparent with all recruiters and firms during this time. I turned down a role initially positioned as a lateral, but it would have been a more junior opportunity. Then, I turned down a family office gig which would have been the same comp but a less clear trajectory.
Now I feel motivated to move but haven't seen many opportunities.
Currently a VP with solid transaction experience but not a household name.
Just curious about what people are seeing these days.
Ozark is a great show! Patrick Bateman!
Been getting pinged mainly on debt roles, not sure your inclination to go that route. On the equity side, Blackrock has an associate position posted, JPMAM has a VP & ED position posted as well
This is what I’ve been hearing. Debt is active. Equity not so much (actually heard of layoffs at one firm)
