Recruiters
As the title says, who are the best recruiters (specifically for real estate) out there?
Anyone think mid-senior level roles start opening up later this year?

Probably helps to specify location. I have never had a useful experience with a recruiter, but I think NYC people use them successfully.

Same question but for Analyst/Associate on West Coast
Never had a useful experience with any. Few decent ones in NYC but not very many outside of that (unsure about West Coast).
For associates in NYC who are the good HH to be in touch with?

Curious what experiences people have had re recruiters and confidentiality. If you want to feel out the market while you're employed, it wouldn't necessarily be good for that info to make its way back to your employer. Most of the recruiters I've interacted with haven't struck me as the most trustworthy people I've ever met.
I have never had a recruiter breach confidentiality. I have, however, had them not understand the industry anywhere near enough to know whether or not the jobs they have match the interests I give them.
Depends on market, but a few of the firms that I’ve had generally positive experiences with (not necessarily for securing jobs) are:
RETS Associates
Henkel Search Partners
SG Partners
Really depends on the individual recruiter in terms of your “experience may vary”. Overall, I highly suggest talking to as many of them as possible whenever they reach out (excluding obviously unrelated job searches), as it’s always helpful to gauge market comp data points. Don’t 100% trust anonymous internet board comp comment.
I've worked with RETS and SG, both seem to recruit for pretty solid positions when they've reached out to me. Most of SG's roles seem more NYC or northeast based with a few roles here and there outside that market. I'm based in LA, and they've reached out to me for roles based on the west coast before. RETS is west coast based from what i can tell but they do have a wider reach to include places like the south and DC. I rarely see NYC or Boston roles coming from them.
