Can I list my major GPA instead of cumulative?
Someone mentioned I could do this but I wasn't sure.
For reference I have a 3.7 including my electives (I shat the bed 1st semester in 1st year) and a 3.9 only including the courses required in my major.
Could I list my GPA as "Major GPA: 3.9/4.0" ?
I go to a semi-target
If you only list a major GPA I'm assuming your cumulative is below 3.0
Put your cumulative on there first, 3.7 is more than enough to check the GPA box. If you want to put Major GPA: 3.9 next to it you can, but it doesn't add anything since your cumulative GPA is plenty high enough
3.7 is fine. No worries. If you had a 3.0 or something then maybe you could just put your major GPA, but you’re fine.
