GPA format for FT IB recruiting

Quick question:

My cumulative gpa is ~3.2, however my gpa since freshman year is ~3.8. My major gpa isn't much better as I took a decent amount courses for my major freshman year. Is there a way I could display this on my resume? I feel as though I address it well when asked in interviews/networking calls as I take ownership for it but for people who don't ask about it, it seems like an automatic ding.

Any advice appreciated.

Hey you seem to be freaking out about this and creating multiple threads. You should just relax.

You can do whatever you want honestly, I mean you kind of have to put a GPA on there so. I don't know what you mean by "my gpa since freshman year is 3.8" are you saying you had a 3.8 freshman year and then it just deteriorated to a 3.2 when you graduated?

If you really really want to you can do Freshman/"X" year GPA: x.x etc...

Whatever eases your conscience. Some people you network with will care about GPA some won't.

Someone won't push you through solely because of your GPA or solely not because of your GPA. You just have to network super hard and go above and beyond. There are people with your GPA who are at top firms as well as people below your GPA at top firms. It is possible. Don't stress about it too much.

Do whatever you think showcases your strengths the best.

Thanks for the response. Sorry the post glitched and told me it didnt post due to similar topic name but I guess it did...3 times

I had really bad grades freshman year but am a rising senior now. I have pulled ~3.8 since freshman year but due to the terrible first year my cumulative gpa is still low (~3.2). Any way to help convey this?
