Rounding an X.X4 to X.X on Resume?

How would it look if for instance I round a 3.74 to a 3.8? (assuming it's not a critical cutoff like a 3.64 to 3.7). Would offers get rescinded if they're expecting a 3.75+ on my transcript because I put 3.8 on my resume and they see a 3.74 instead? Is it worth the marginal risk/reward to put 3.8 instead of 3.74?

I know it doesn't technically mathematically round up to 3.8 but 3.74 on my transcript is rounded down from something like 3.7433333 anyways which could be interpreted as 3.75 which is basically 3.8 on a resume

Nobody is going to care between 3.74 and 3.8. That isn’t going to be what makes your application so it doesn’t make any sense. The reward here is zero and the risk is non zero, so easy decision. Honestly if someone did that it’s not the dishonesty that would get me (although I’d ding someone for that) it’s my concern that they don’t know basic math.
