Taking an internship in a foreign central bank
Hello guys!
So right now I am about to enter my third year of college pursuing a double major in finance and economics. I'm looking for internships next summer and I had a bit of a crazy idea. I was born in Colombia and got the chance to visit this summer and I was thinking it would be kinda cool to look for an internship in their central bank (El Banco de la Republica). I guess my question is, how would taking this opportunity (assuming I get it) benefit me or damage my future career opportunities.
p.s. I would also like to take an internship at the Fed but I find living in Colombia for a summer to be a very valuable experience.
