Admission chances for latinamerican undergraduate - LSE, IE Business School, Oxford, HEC (Masters in Finance or related)
Hello, I am centralamerican (Honduran) with double major in Industrial Engineering and Finances and an associate degree in Business Administration. Im currently aspiring for a Finance related masters degree in a top B-school in europe. I graduated from a local Honduran unviersity, top 3 of the class in both majors (approx. GPA 3.6). I have only internship experiences, one in a multilateral banking (top bank of the region) and in a top 4 consulting firm, both in Honduras. I have a 700 GMAT and 110 Toefl score.
I am afraid that my undergraduate is not from a top school and that maybe that would affect my chances on being accepted.
How would you guys review my chances on being accepted?
Hi luismaradiaga I'm curious about your choice of school/program. I would have advised you to apply to just 3 places: Cambridge/Judge, Oxford/Said, and INSEAD, and wait to see who gave you more scholarship money.
And LSE, although dont hope for scholaship money from them
You're totally right. That's why I didn't recommend them.
