Any insight on what clubs to join at UVA for IB as a transfer student sophomore year?
I am a current freshman at UIUC and have been accepted to two relatively competitive orgs for IB and will most likely end this semester with a 4.0 GPA. However, I simply do not enjoy the school, and UVA is in state for me so why not save some money. While I know UVA is much better than UIUC for IB in general, if you are able to get into the investment banking academy(IBA) they prepare and guide you through recruiting.
I was wondering what clubs I should join at UVA to give me similar resources/skills, and if you have any tips on recruiting for those clubs.
I am also wondering if anybody has any insights on McIntire and how to prepare myself to be in a good position to be accepted there.
Thank you

Agree with above. AIF or MII. Do it right away when you get to grounds next fall. Focus on getting a good gpa in the fall and spending time with one of these two clubs. In the winter, pivot recruiting for IB and, if youre into that kind of thing, joining a fraternity.
