Econ or Finance - PHD or MBA

I'm currently a sophomore majoring in finance and expecting to finish my degree in the end of my junior year (I wanted to stay ahead and go straight to grad school). However, after taking some courses in economics (especially macro), I was fascinated by how it looks at things in a global scale. I can double major in both econ and finance and still be able to finish them within 3 years. Nonetheless, I now feel like being splitted in half now. To follow the path of Economics, I need have a strong math background (I only have cal 3), researches, and GRE for PHD. To go with Finance, I need working experience and GMAT for MBA.

My ultimate goal is to be able to understand international business/economics so I can expand my career globally, but now there are two paths and I really don't know which one to follow. Hopefully, you guys can give me some advice (pros and cons of each decision).

I think you need to refine your goal. Your goal shouldn't be "My ultimate goal is to be able to understand international business/economics so I can expand my career globally" it should be something concrete that can ideally be measured.

For example a goal could be "I want to one day be a Portfolio Manager at a hedge fund" in which case its easier to see a clear path of tasks you need to accomplish to achieve your goal.

Think more about what exactly you want to do and then the path of PhD vs. working now and pursuing an MBA a couple years down the line will become more clear.
