Junior Enlisted Solider to Undergraduate Business School

Hi.

In order to transition into finance, my resume needs a good school name. I compiled a list of Veteran-lenient (not necessariy "friendly") college:

Columbia GS (vet-friendly)
Cornell
NYU (well, not so much, but I'm assuming they are through talks with others)
University of Chicago (vet-lenient, but not friendly)
UNC Chapel Hill
William & Mary
Amherst College
Vassar College
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (Not vet-friendly)

For reference, I'm a Specialist (E-4), U. S. Army, Medic, with 1 deployment, 3.5 GPA, over 30 credits done. SAT is 1600 (don't smoke me).

Thoughts from any junior enlisted (NCO's welcomed too!) who transitioned from the DOD (or Coast Guard) into finance. Or anyone who can chime in for guidance. Any sector in finance (IB, HF, hell even the SEC).

I know for a fact Columbia GS is my best shot, hands down. If anyone can suggest another school with similar opportunities, would be good.

Sectors interested: Asset Management, IB, Consulting. Don't care about BB, MM, or boutique or reputation. Just want good career progression. Wouldn't mind getting smoked once in a while.
