LSE Applicable Mathematics vs WBS Financial Mathematics

Hi all,

Currently a final year undergrad studying Mathematics at a target in the UK. Anybody know which one of these programmes is more highly regarded for recruiting in quantitative finance. To my knowledge, LSE>Warwick but Warwick Maths>LSE Maths. The course at Warwick definitely has more programming and I'd say probably looks "better", but am just wondering how strong the LSE brand name is.

How competitive is LSE Applicable Maths in terms of offers? How good were your grades and references? Wondering as I havent seen much info about the course but the course looks decent and isn't super expensive.

 

Thank you. Congrats on the offers btw. Both should set you up well for a career in quant finance. From what I have gathered, as long as you study at a top uni, do a quantitative degree and are good with programming and decent with probability/statistics you are fine.
