non traditional bachelor's(hons) degree and want to apply to MBA, will it be okay?
Hi everyone.
Since this is serious stuff, I don't want any trolls like whattherock commenting on here, please.
So here's the story, I did an untraditional honors 4 years degree from the Australia with first class honors (or 3.8 GPA according to WES evaluation report). The first year, I took regular classes and participated in several on campus activities and clubs just like a regular undergrad student. The second year, I took the distance learning route and also started working with EY in Melbourne in Audit. I did the remaining degree via distance learning option and some weekend classes and I'm going to graduate in May this year. Also, I'm an Audit senior (3rd year) now with CPA Australia that I got through the degree program. My question is if I apply to MBA programs(say UCLA or NYU), will my experience be considered or will I be considered at all for admission since I got my experience during the bachelor's degree (a more common thing for accounting folks in Asia and Australia)? Also, will they be okay with the fact that I did the remaining 3 years via distance learning along with CPA Australia? I'm so confused. I don't want to wait more and get post bachelor's experience because I want to transition to consulting in US and I can't do it without MBA.
Looking forward to reading serious responses!

You may get a lot of confusion for being abnormal but not necessarily bad... It's worth asking admissions how they would evaluate your eork experience number. Usually it's post graduate experience, but in your case its more blurry.
