Do you - or OP - know what the advantages are of applying to Stern MBA part-time?

Besides the fact that it allows one to work at the same time I've heard the admission standards are lower than FT. Accurate or baloney?

PT and FT programs are generally the same programs right? Both would be MBAs, but I'd assume there would be elite-ism about FT programs looking down on PT programs in recruitment?

Yes, both PT and FT come out with the same MBA degree. There's certainly an element of elite-ism for those well-versed in the MBA landscape, but once again that also depends on the school culture. I think it's a safe assumption that finding a PT program that integrates well with the FT program is atypical.

Recruitment is a critical factor that you should examine when weighing between PT and FT. If you're looking to career pivot then I would make sure you vet with the school what access PT students have to OCR. Personally, I'd advise going FT if you're looking to career pivot. If it's a check the box type deal, and you're staying in the same function then I'd push for your employer to sponsor you to go PT.
