I currently am a sophomore studying finance and am applying to an energy trading program that my school has. I want to make myself stand out to board members of the program as well as potential employers. I’ve heard that many shops in the industry value coding knowledge even if you aren’t a quant. What would be a good language to learn that would give me a competitive advantage, especially in the energy trading industry?
