Good desks for Stats + CS major?

Hey everyone, I'm an incoming SA at a BB in S&T for 2021.

I come from a Data Science & Analytics background, and love playing with datasets to find insights. I was wondering what desks emphasize statistical, analytical, and probabilistic thinking.

Any suggestions on desks & roles to look into going into next summer?

Thanks for the advice! I applied to a lot of prop shops (JSC, DRW, Optiver, Akuna, TMG, Virtu, etc.) plus some BB Quant programs, and they all either rejected me or gave my resume for S&T interviews, for some strange reason. I didn't even make it past the resume screens for a lot of quant shops, unfortunately, given I don't come from a target. Will definitely shoot my shot a second time.

As a VP in HF, I'd love to hear if you have any advice on how to leverage a S&T summer internship into a quant trading FT offer

Mortgage trading, loan trading, and generally all structured products that require lots of mathematical analysis. Learn as much python/excel/markets stuff in your 2 year analyst stint, which these desks would allow you to do.
