Looking for advice

Hi all,

I'm looking for advice about how I should go about spending my summer of 2023. I'm a freshman looking to work within the capital markets. I'm very interesting in s&t & hf. Have been trading for 6 years, have a very good understanding as to how the market operates (along with generating decent alpha).

Unfortunately, to my knowledge the deadline has passed for most s&t summer 2023 internships.

What would the second best thing be? I have the opportunity to potentially intern at a boutique WM firm, and I'm wondering how much value that would really provide to my resume. Would a WM internship help me on my path to s&t/hf? Or should I look for something more relevant (& what should that be)

I'm looking for advice
