Rates trading. Future prospects and how to break in
Currently an analyst in corporate banking and I recognize the long shot nature of the transition from my current role to trading, but having read about rates trading, it probably has to be one of the most interesting financial career paths I’ve discovered. It combines my passion for keeping up with global macro/political news and the idealized version of what I think the trading desk is like in my head
Is there anyone here that works in this field who’d be willing to tell me about it, as well as what future one would have in this role in the long term?
