Who should I follow on LinkedIn for useful content?

If you're a student looking to get into finance and you're not on LinkedIn yet I suggest you get on there now. If you're feeding your scrolling addiction it may as well be something that will help you land a job.

To be clear, these are people to FOLLOW, not connect with.

I'm a fixed income trader so my recommendations on who to follow have a macro bias. Some of them are quite random and have small followings but lately they have been posting interesting information. This isn't everyone I follow, just a random mix to get started with.

Please comment and add your recommendations to the list with a short description of what kind of content they post.

Andreas Steno Larson (macro Europe focus energy steno research) https://www.linkedin.com/in/andreasstenolarsen

Charles-Henry Monchau (CIO at Syz group) macro https://www.linkedin.com/in/charles-henry-monchau-cfa-cmt-caia-4003096

Neel Kashkari (this is mainly central bank fanboying - don't expect him to post on LinkedIn saying hey everyone, FYI we are going to pivot in December) https://www.linkedin.com/in/neelkashkari

Ray Dalio I recommend NOT following him. Ray has moved over into the world of being a guru. He's loaded so it seems like the natural progression. Don't start talking about Radical Transparency as an intern on a trading desk. It will not end well (99% of the time at least....you might be the 1% who gets lucky with a desk head who likes that kind of stuff)

Bridgewater Associates - I say no to Ray in my feed but yes to Bridgewaterhttps://www.linkedin.com/company/bridgewater-associates/

Yuto Haga (macro content creator) https://www.linkedin.com/in/yuto-haga

Finimize (Financial markets content). https://www.linkedin.com/company/finimize/

Eddie Donmez (works at finimize)

Geoffrey Chen (global macro investor) https://www.linkedin.com/in/geo-chen

Zameer Arora (PM at Bluecrest) https://www.linkedin.com/in/zameer-arora-9a3bb7

Subodh Warekar (second vice president at northern trust) https://www.linkedin.com/in/subodh-warekar-42b08314

"Adam K" rates. He posts bank research such as GS and often will be pretty detailed about rates and vol surfaces etchttps://www.linkedin.com/in/adam-k-8851a21aa

Central banks
Good to follow central banks so you see their updates on rate moves and also they put up some of the studies they do.

Federal Reserve Board
Bank of England
European Central Bank
Reserve Bank of Australia
Reserve Bank of New Zealand
