Best groups for VC/GE exits?
Not regarding specific groups — obviously GS TMT is best — but across the board, if I'm at some random BB, which groups are best to network for placement for to get VC/GE exit opps? Tech seems obvious. What comes next? Are there some banks where Tech doesn't exist best to these opportunities and instead another group excels?
Besides TMT: M&A, Sponsors, HC, Consumer Retail.
GS SF / MS Menlo / Q all place very well into VC / GE. It isn’t worth ranking within those shops - once you’re at the top, exit strength comes down to the individual, not the firm
