Growth Equity / VC Case Study without CIM / Data
Final year student having a take-home case study with a tech-focused growth equity.
I am given a few private companies target, with no additional information about the companies.
The requirement is to create an investment case (10 pages slides) for the target I choose, and present the 5-year expected return assuming $20m investment.
(without any financial info, I dont think I can build any CF-based model.. would revenue multiple works?)
Thanks a lot for help!
Search around to see if any press releases or articles (e.g. Techcrunch, The Information) have revenue or growth rate. Ask a friend to pull their Pitchbook profiles for valuation or financial data. Revenue multiple will be fine. Good luck!
