Selecting the right VC

Hi all. I've been looking to get into VC for a while and am well progressed in a number of processes. What do you think the key criteria are for selecting the right VC firm to join? I have a few in mind, but would be great to hear what else I should be considering.Another issue I'm facing is that some of the firms are based in other European areas eg the Nordics. Would this international exposure be a plus? Or would it potentially be a career hindrance as these other regions would be considered less prestigious than the UK ecosystem?Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot. I know one of them is particularly strong in Nordics with excellent deal flow.

Do you think that going to Nordics in anyways diminishes a career in venture?
