Venture Debt Interview - VP level

Hi All: I'm mid career (40s) and currently interviewing for a job in venture debt at a mid-sized public bank. My background is in commercial banking, C&I. I have a lot of experience with PE debt and closely held mid-market companies but not a lot of experience in early stage negative EBITDA companies. I'm currently almost at the end of the interview process and have tried to prepare myself by learning about the VC cycle as well reading about venture debt and VC terms. Generally speaking, whenever I've been offered a job my reputation proceeds me so this process has been a lot more challenging than I'm used to. If anyone can provide and tips or resources for someone transitioning to venture debt, I would really appreciate it.
