No Internship, Possible to Get a Full Time in Wealth Management

I am a rising senior at a target school studying History. I have a high GPA and participate in extracurriculars, though they are entrepreneurship/non-profit related. I went through the recruiting for consulting and ended up without an offer. I also haphazardly attempted wealth management at a few banks, only after realizing consulting might not pan out. Unfortunately, it was late in the process and I had/have some issues interviewing that I am working on!

This summer, I will be interning at a top law firm in the business development department. I don't even know if there is a chance of this position becoming a full time position, though I doubt it. I plan on doing recruiting for consulting.

However, is there any chance of finding a full time position in wealth management at a larger firm at this point in my career trajectory? How (and when) would I approach recruiting, as so many banks fill from their analyst class? Do you have any general advice from moving from no internship to full time?
