how about all of you... after some years in banking, what about startin a hf, a pe or vc... guess thats the dream of many.
but what about other business, like a restaurant or even a chain.. get the logo, the colors and the food.. with some special interior and style.
how about a coffee store like starbucks. ive heard they're rentable..
or just get a transporter and sell sausages lol
any other "fun" ideas which could make some money.

I would love to....
but as of right now I have no idea what I'd do. I work with a lot of smaller manufacturing cos. and these owners are usually pulling in 150-400k (plus the company pays all of their expenses) without doing much work. However, most of these guys busted their ass at one point (and took small salaries) to get where they are now. I also saw my uncle make some good dough as a contractor for building upscale houses (he had no experience or formal training).
Neither of these are what I'd like to do. I still don't know what I'd like to do. But, seeing some of these people succeed and their lifestyles are something I'd like to pursue some day.
Honestly, what I might do is take one of the small companies that we either can't or wont sell (for various reasons) and make a lowball offer for them. It'll be a while before I have the cash to do this though.
