Best Places to get Wings in NYC
Hey guys, I am going to meet up with a couple of friends in NYC this weekend and we wanted to decide upon dining spots. We've definitely tried all of the usually places (Quaker Steak, Buffalo Wild Wings, Wing Stop, etc). So in your experience, what are the best non-traditional places to get good quality buffalo wings in the city?
We're looking for something different from the same franchise style restaurants
Bonchon is pretty ok for wings, they have a location downtown and in K town.
Is it just strictly Korean or do they have traditional american buffalo wings as well?
I think Korean only, but they're definitely worth a shot.
Coming from a Buffalo-raised guy, I can safely say Croxley Ales makes a very comparable wing to a mid-tier wing place in Buffalo. That is very high praise by the way.
I heard Korean, somewhere on this thread. So now that I moved out of midtown I can give away my favorite sportsbar in Koreatown. Krush, it has a secret entrance, has amazing korean food with american standards such as wings and is definitely not your everyday sports bar.
I second this. Krush and Turntable Chicken are both great.
do yourself a favor and take a quick flight to buffalo. then rent a car and take about a 5 min drive to duffs from the airport.
or Duffs right in the airport....

Definitely Bar Coastal on 78th and 1st
Caroll Place in Greenwich Village has delicious rosemary wings - meat falls right off the bone.
very touristy, but a place called carmines in times square has amazing wings.
There's no true must have wings place in NYC. I've thought of this as biz opp.
Really not a place to sit down but I'd highly recommend Dan and John's. Two guys from Buffalo who started out at Smorgasburg and eventually opened up an outpost on 1st Avenue about a year ago.
