Bloomberg Research Analyst Internship Interview
Hi guys,
I just received an invitation for the Bloomberg Market Data Analyst internship. It is the first round and will be a video interview. I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this program and could shed some light as to what to expect for the interview. Additionally, I initially applied to the Bloomberg Intelligence "Research Analyst Internship" which states "conducting industry-specific investment research" as the primary responsibility, but the video interview is for "Market Data." Is this the same thing?

not sure if you completed the hiring process, but just to answer your question: they're both very different roles.
Market data analysts are in the data team which analyse the market data and making sure they're free from bad data; whereas research analysts are similar to ER roles. research analysts are usually external hires who are research analysts from other shops, and not associates (associates are junior to analysts in ER).

Hey everybody, I'm hoping someone can provide some color on the content of first round pre-recorded interviews at Bloomberg. I just received a first round interview offer for the Bloomberg Intelligence Research Summer Analyst position, and they're a little vague on the content of the questions, so I'd love to get some insight.
