Classes to take in College
Coming from a liberal arts college that doesn't offer many finance courses. What kind of classes are employers looking for students to take other then the base economics courses?

Career Resources
Take Economics - also take accounting if you can get your hands on it.
Try and take as many International business classes as well; like Int'l trade, Int'l Biz, and Int'l Finance if your school offers them.
Calc I, II, III Stats, Adv. Stats
It never hurts to take more math course...if you are not a "math person" try taking computer science classes/modeling classes if offered
Employers don't ever see what classes you take unless you tell them in an interview. I would also recommend econ or any accounting/finance classes that your school offers, but if you your school doesn't have any of these classes, just learn it on your own before interviews. There are a lot of resources out there for the motivated student to learn on her own.
