Client Services at Large Asset Management Firm

Hi guys,

I have an interview for client services at a large Asset Management company tomorrow (think Fidelity, Third Ave Management, Vanguard), and was wondering what I should be expecting in terms of the interview, job duties, and comp.

A friend of mine is in a similar role at a hedge fund and loves it, but something tells me that it is a bit different on the long-only side of things.

By the sounds of it, it seems almost like an IR type of role where I will be servicing the investors and assisting them in terms of performance reviews. I will also be prospecting new clients for both separate accounts and mutual fund business, so I'm sure there is a commission component to it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
