Corporate internship for french student

Hi everyone,

Starting a new thread to talk a little bit about my situation.
I'm currently doing my gap year for a french business school, working in audit for a Big 4 in energy sector.

In 3 months, I will have to start a new 6 month internship. i'm thinking about applying for corporate internship abroad in the energy sector. My problem is that I don't really know which companies to apply to.
Is there any ranking (based on different factors) of energy companies somewhere on the internet ?

More generally, do you think it's a good idea to apply in corpo instead of, for exemple, IB ? Is there a risk of narrowing my future opportunities when I have to find a job after my studies ?

Over the long run, i'd like to learn everything I can about energy sector and use it in corporate strategy or any equivalent.

What do you think folks ?
