Daroth Capital Advisors
Does anybody know anything about this firm. It seems that from their website there are only 3 people. Is this legit and would it be a scam to work there?

But I can't vouch either way.
I'd be surprised if those three guys were involved in a scam... but I don't know from experience. They went to HBS, Columbia, NYU, etc... and they have worked at pretty well known firms in the past and so forth.
Not that working at a 3 man shop is ideal or anything - but still.
Other people on the board have said that Daroth is a scam, despite the principals having impressive credentials. I'm not sure how they know this. Either from direct experience or through a friend. The other post said they are just trying to prey on desperate prospective monkeys. What do you think?

i worked in a pizza shop initially, selling pizza and derivatives of pizza
calzones, shit like that
what I reallly mean to say it that i worked my tail off as an assistant trader, then got a FT job working for a partner at a regional firm in financial analysis
then i got a job at Barclays after they bought lehman
that's how it is done my man, THAT is how WE do it over HERE

Yes, but there isn't much info and it only lists 3 executives. I was hoping for info regarding, origins, competitive advantage, prestige etc.
Well obviously it's a very small team. So the advantages would be boutique like.

Do a search for them - I remember another thread listing them as a "scam" firm. But then again someone else defended them.
