I have a start date coming up this monday for big4 advisory. In the past week or so, I have been interviewing for a position in finance which I would much rather prefer. I am pretty far along the interview process, but theres no way I would be getting an offer before my start date. I could get one next week at the earliest. Would it look very bad to tell big4 I need another week, maybe make up some family/illness excuse?
