Dubai Trading Desks?
Has anyone out there heard if there are more trade desks opening up in Dubai? I would like to see about heading out there for a trading position, but mostly Dubai is known for Private Equity at this point.
I'd be interested to know what everyone else thinks or if there is anyone on this board who is already out there.
From what I know and from looking at who is located in Dubai at the bank that I summered at, it seems that there is not much (if any) trading going on out of Dubai. Most banks still do their Middle East business out of London. PWM and private equity is mostly what you will find in Dubai and maybe a few sales positions.
