Do you know how much the total compensation is counting bonuses? Also, how is this compared to starting salaries on the street? Thanks!

You can expect north of $100k your first year all in. You're going to be sleeping under your desk...As per the usual you will be put through the grinder. IB hours. The analyst rotation is a standard two year program with the largest analyst pool being based out of Santa Monica I believe.

EDIT: I just realized you're going to be a SA. Forget what I said about hours. I think it's pretty mellow.

From what I understand you will be a generalist and get staffed on all sorts of deals (retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and debt). An MD there told me 90% of the analyst get picked off by the clients by the end of the first year. Exits are top notch--go look up their client list (Blackstone, Clarion, Tishman, Jamestown etc.) Eastdil is the best in the RE capital markets arena hands down.

I don't know much about the REIB group (NYC and DC offices). but if it's worth anything I had a discussion with a former SMD from Eastdil who now works at my company and the told me they're a bunch of legacy Wachovia and Wells Fargo guys. They do it all (M&A, IPOs, Fund Placements, etc.) Probably similar comp if not slightly more and same hours.
