Harder for me to get Offer??
Sup.
Will be a Summer Associate(not analyst) at BB in NYC. 23 years old, target undergrad(econ major), currently a 2nd year law student. No finance experience. Prior WE is with prestigious judge/law firm(non corporate).
Will it be harder for me to leverage this into a FT offer? My concern is: 1) my age, 2) no MBA, 3) no relevant WE.
Thanks all.
I would hire you because with three inches you would be no competition.
Speaking of my username, I have a decent story. A girl I went to HS with pretty much hooked up with my entire group of friends. For some reason, we politely asked her to rank us in size. I was 5/5. I like to think she arbitrarily ranked us, but yea....Still get shit for it to this day.
Oh, by the way, classy broad right?
I don't believe you post a picture of it.
Shit just got weird.
No banks hire SAs if they don't think they want to hire them FT. It's just not worth their time.
To the extent that you'll have less of a finance/business background than your peers, yes, you'll be at a disadvantage in that you have a steeper learning curve. In the firm's eyes, it won't matter.
