How can Madoff walk with a set that big???

Just when we thought they couldn't get any bigger, the King of all Douchebags himself has now come out with a new outrageous claim – that his wife should be allowed to keep the $70 million of assets that happen to (conveniently) be in her name. Of course, this includes the sad little penthouse poor Madoff is forced to live in while he’s on house arrest. Based on the fact that he’s still sitting pretty, while the investors he stole $50 billion from are picking up the pieces of their lives, I’m venturing a guess that he’ll probably get his way yet again.

His wife hasn’t been charged with anything as of yet, but I find it hard to believe that the two were sharing a bed and she had no clue he was screwing thousands of other people at the same time. And she just happened to withdraw some $15 million the day before he gets nabbed? Does anyone out there really think she was that ignorant? I say she deserves to go down with him. And they can both rot in their $7 million penthouse together. So there.

Agreed.

I don't know how much can be proven about her involvement, but she should not have a single penny left after this is finished. As far as Bernie goes, send him to the state pen for life and let him fend for himself.

I can't believe he's still sitting on his ass in a penthouse. Ridiculous.

I agree but we both know thats not going to happen...they'll let her keep a few million and atleast one propety unless they link her to having a hand in it...he should have had her divorce him before he ran his mouth, then she'd be set...I could see her being in charge like on Arrested Development...
