How long do MBB keep past applications and resumes
How long do McKinsey, Bain, and BCG keep past resumes and applications? I applied several years ago and got through 1 or 2 rounds of each before getting dinged. I'd like to apply again, but I needlessly (and stupidly) embellished my resume the first time around. I'm going to shoot straight this time, but if they consider my resume from the first time either for comparison with the second resume during the interview process or check the contents of the first resume during a background check, I might as well not even bother applying.
Probably won't check if it's more than 2 years (standard), but they still might have it on file
