"theworks9" Not sure, but they manage 1bn and have 40 investment professionals...Economics cant be great

Don't forget about leverage. $1bn can turn into $3-4bn quickly in a long/short market-neutral model depending on how tight the risk parameters are.

Fwiw I know a couple people there and they're top notch. Former platform guys (citadel, etc) and time horizon is similar ie playing data points and earnings.

 

i know people who work there - think they are 2 and 20. been around for awhile, competitive pay scale, return on capital model

 

If their 13-F means anything they have 200 positions on around $750M and seem to be nothing more than a shitty S&P tracker. Biggest positions are KO and SPY. $11M in Tivo calls strikes me as hysterical. Maybe I'm missing something.
