Jobs in Asia - Recruiting activities?
For the people who have gotten interviews or full-time offers in Asia - did you guys apply on their site? Or do they specifially make postings or recruit at your school? I'm just wondering because at my school there are no recruiting activities much less postings for any positions in Asia and I would love to go there. I've gotten a few interviews but this was only after my own initiative to cold call asian offices. Any advice would help. Thanks
Royal Bank of Scotland supposedly takes a great deal of people in Asia. They have a listing for it on doostang but thats a crap shoot. Good luck, i got an offer in Japan due to knowing someone at a hedge fund who put in a good word with their sell side counter part, and they were fine with an American coming over, I'd say cold call your way across the ocean.
i applied online for the HK SA internships. all the BBs offer them. deadlines were in December.
In asia in general, all university career offices would ask you to apply online directly at the banks website.
applied online thru BB's career section
