MetLife - Corporate Development, M&A

What are your thoughts on MetLife's Corp Dev, M&A Group and career options afterwards? I know that a lot of people enter the position after having working in IB for a few years, but how would the experience differ as a newhire right out of college? Based off of what I have been fed for the past 4 years of my life, dealflow is crucial for the experience and to be able to move forward in life. The company has made an acquisition every 2-3 years, so I guess there would be some M&A experience, but it would be unlike that in an IB. Just want to hear your thoughts on this group, so I have a better idea how I should go about thinking about it. Thanks in advance.
