Monitor cuts 20% of work force.

I just heard that management consultancy monitor cut 20% of its workforce and closed several business units. The entire LA and San Francisco offices are probably wipedin a round of "rightsizing". I assume other consultancies must be feeling the crunch as well. Anyone know more about how consulting firms are performing right now?
