PE and VC Secondary Markets
Hi guys,
I interviewed last week for a small (~20 employee) VC secondary market firm based in the West coast. They manage over $1B, and specialize in secondary direct investments, funds of funds, and the occasional primary investment in high-growth tech companies.
I'm wondering what you guys think of this as an opportunity out of undergrad? I know a lot of people here turn their nose up in the air at anything that isn't IB. But what kind of skills do you pick up in this kind of industry? What are the hours and comps like? And are there exit opportunities to hedge funds or maybe even PE?
Thanks in advance!
