What professional organizations do you recommend joining? I am currently a student member of ULI. I have heard NAIOP is good also. Any thoughts? Thanks.

You hit two of the best. Look for local organizations too. Neighborhood development corps, local tech councils, etc. Think were potential clients will be and go there.

No more than anyone else would be. Jones Lang LaSalle is based there though, so that's pretty cool.
Check out Young Real Estate Professionals "YREP". Great networking organization for young real estate professionals. Originated in Chicago, now has divisions in major cities around the world.
