Rent Help!

Hello, WSO users. I am wondering about renting. I work for a top management consulting firm in Toronto. I was extremely lucky just to get any offers, but I'm one of the lucky ones. I live in Toronto, so real estate rent prices aren't as berserk. Does anyone have any idea what a first year should rent? I know I'm not going to be living in a Yorkville Loft, but what can I expect to be able to get on my salary?
