Resumes

Does anyone advocate adding political campaign experience to an i-banking resume. I graduated in May and am still holding on to hope of finding a job at a boutique.

In the mean time I have been working on a political campaign for a relative and managing one of my family's commercial buildings (and am nearing a lease) is there any reason to add either of these "jobs" to my i-banking resume?

Hold off the political campaign - they want someone who is generally apolitical and able to work with a broad spectrum of clients, not to mention the guy who reviews your resume may have a bias and question your ability to work there.

You could put the commercial building thing in some place besides work experience - don't mention anything about your family. Quantify the section and give a commanding title to your work.

Hope this helps.
