Summer Analyst 2019, anyone still hiring?

People and primates, I am a rising junior at a state school, SEC like Alabama, and have gotten no interviews beyond a few hirevues. I have applied to just about every bank you have heard of, BB, MM, EB, ETC, but no dice. I have a 3.9 G.P.A. I have worked in BOTH private equity AND an investment bank (operations). I am part of an elite cohort of finance students at my school (100% placement on Wall Street, no I'm not joking), but still no bites. I have been networking with alumni, but those bank applications haven't really begun giving out interviews (CS, BAML, SOC GEN). How screwed am I? Does anyone have advice? Should I just pivot to operations or S&T and try again for a full-time offer?

bro like you said some banks haven't given out many interviews yet. keep grinding and networking bro. if you don't have confidence in yourself why would banks have the confidence to invest in you??

If you had a solid resume and have been networking, then just wait till those applications to come out and see. Stop stressing and plus a lot of banks you can apply to more than 1 position so doesn't hurt to apply to S&T or operations. If you are set on IBD, then just wait for the others to open

I am not worried about having A position in an investment bank, I work in operations now and I think I have a good shot of coming back next year. I just really want IBD.

Debt isn't the only thing distressed at this shop

i never understood why freshmen give advice to older college students. i would assume the vast majority of your information is based on the hearsay on this very forum (which is far from being an accurate source of information).

This is taken direction from Goldman Sachs' Page:
