Summer Ops Internship or "Summer Investment Associate"
Junior at non-target deciding between a summer Operations internship at a BB or a summer investment associate for a (relatively) small investing company on the west coast. Thoughts on which one would be better for breaking into IB/PE after graduation??
When in doubt take the front office position over the back office. You will have a much better chance breaking into IB FT next year with a FO position at a no name firm over a BO position anywhere.
