Tailors / Alterations recommendations [LONDON]
Can any of you recommend a reasonably priced, good quality tailor in Central London?
I've got 3 decent suits which need minor alterations [sleeves, legs]

Hey Joefish. I used a launderette last year that also did alterations on suits and shirts etc etc....it was on the North side of Old Street Roundabout, on City Road. I found it was very cheap relative to the city or west end and they did a really good job! I had trousers etc etc taken up.
I'm being charged £7 for trousers, £12 for sleeves £22 for waist on jackets. Daylight robbery! Anywhere cheaper?

Whilst I would be happy going with a cheap launderette for a simple trouser length adjustment, once you start needed adjustments to a jacket, it makes sense to go to a bit more professional outfit - I'm paying about £40 for a shoulder and waist adjustment to one of mine (bought a suit when I used to work out a lot more). Obviously this is all relative to the price of the suit.
