10,000th Registered User, Chatting, Stocks, FAQs and Donations

Hello Fellow Primates. I just wanted to update all of you on some recent tweaks we've been making.

But first, I wanted to thank all of the registered users. User "IwannaB" became the 10,000th user to register for WallStreetOasis.com tonight. Just in time for the new year. (now if we could only get the thousands of other casual browsers to join and contribute - I know you are out there).

On with the updates:

1. New FAQ section up in the primary Navigation bar. Please feel free to email me any edits, additions, etc to these FAQs (the list could use some work but I figure it's a decent start). 2. New Chat module is enabled - it is a bit buggy but you can chat IM style with your fellow monkeys by clicking on "Chat" in the navigation bar. Please be patient while we try to work out the bugs. and please upgrade to IE7 Safari or Firefox (best) if you're going to attempt to use the chat 3. New Stock Section. If you click on "Stock" in the navigation bar, you can now keep track of all the stocks in your portfolio. By entering in the tickers with a space between them you can keep dibs on how much money you are losing as the subprime mess throws the economy into a tailspin...or laugh your way to great returns as you pick up some of the financial stocks for bargain prices. (which one? who knows) 4. Donation section - this is now set properly so that the $ are directed to the sites paypal account. As I've said 100 times, i'm super-dedicated to making this site the most entertaining and useful finance community online. Any donations will be put to good use as I continue adding features and functionality.

I will keep you updated as more upgrades are made throughout the week.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
