Sales and Trading Analyst position

1. Began two weeks before in person interview with phone call. Phone interview was VERY rigorous. Questions about markets, pitch positions were rife. On the spot answers were required, curve balls were thrown on every answer. Was told this is done in order to weed out the less-qualified applicants.
2. My pointers are know the markets intimately and have at least ten positions across all asset classes that you know like the back of your hand.
3. Two weeks after phone was called into a super along with seven other guys and gals. All were sequestered in different parts of the building. I was interviewed by six of seven people individually.Was expected to give updates on the positions I had taken during the phone interview. Was also required to justify those positions with information from whats happening in the markets. Was also expected to pitch new positions based on current market trends.
