I submitted my resume to a headhunter, who subsequently contacted me about the role. I had an informational interview with the recruiter and then scheduled a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I visited the offices, where I met with 3 team members. From that point, I met with the group head.
Interview Questions
Most questions were straightforward and leaned very heavily on prior experience. Be able to clearly articulate your experience in commercial real estate and why it is relevant to working out distressed situations. Also, be able to address your ability to negotiate with intermediaries and manage different stages of projects simultaneously. Past Argus experience is a strong plus, as it is the software used to run property valuations.
